TWD - Pecan Butterscotch Shortbreads - with Walnuts




This week’s Tuesday with Dorie recipe is Peacan Butterscotch Shortbreads. Mine are actually Walnut Butterscotch Shortbreafs.

These biscuits are flavoured with brown sugar, chocolate and nuts.

They are quite delicate, so they made the perfect icecream sandwich:

Oh those look so nice, you got such a good color on them. I am starting to suspect my oven after two weeks of not getting the right color on baked goods...better get it checked out I guess. Walnuts sound delicious in this recipe. Such a great idea to use them for ice cream sandwiches...I'm going to present one of those to Mark tomorrow and give you the credit.
