TWD - Maple Walnut Tart



 

This week’s Tuesday with Dorie recipe is Maple Walnut Tart.


I couldn’t be bothered trying to make pastry in the heat, so I filled a store bought pie crust with the filling.

It turned out beautifully- such a delicious tart, even my mum liked it.

I enjoyed this pie as well -- a nice change from the traditional pecan pie.

this is totally a tart - I felt odd writing "pie" too! Great idea using store-bought crust - we don't have great ones here but it's a fast dessert if you can get a good one!
