This week’s recipe for Tuesday with Dorie is Banana Breakfast Squares.
Like it says on the tin, these squares contain bananas. They also contain coffee, pecans, dates and flax seeds.
I only made a half recipe and still ended up with a lot of squares. They taste good, and freeze well - win, win.

This was a win, win. I froze half of mine too.
oh yes, they're good keepers and will definitely be nice to have on hand.
I need to make more of these and freeze them!
Very pretty plate with these delightful breakfast squares. ~ Shirley
Indeed, I also made a half batch and there were many many bars to be eaten so I gifted them to Mark's brother who dropped by. That said, I will probably make them again as they are easy, a nice quick way to use up bananas sitting around (gone are the days with all the swimmers around were things didn't last out the day), and Mark loves not having to think too much about breakfast so these are perfect. And, they taste great. Yours look delicious. I also love that dish.
Total win win recipe! Delicious, easy to freeze and uses up ripe banana!
Agreed! A real winner.
Thanks Kayte. Yes, I agree, so easy and tasty.
Thank you!
I still have some in the freezer from before I went on holidays. They’ll be handy when I don’t have any other cake in the house and no time to make any.
They are indeed.
It’s great to have some cake on hand for when you need it.
