This week’s Tuesday with Dorie recipe is Mulled Wine Jammers - a vanilla sable topped with spiced fruit jam and streusel.
Instead of making Dorie’s jam, I used some Christmas jam that I already had. As it was also a spiced jam, I figured it was a viable substitute.
These biscuits are buttery, light and delicious.

I can't wait to make these! Yours look lovely!
These are sooo good. Mark just loves them and I thought they were very good as well. Yours look so good. I tried to put some of these in the freezer for the Christmas trays but apparently he got them back out and is working on eating them all. I should have labeled it "Chicken Parts" like I did when the boys were home to keep them from getting into the cookies and eating them all.
Thanks Mardi. These were good.
Good idea for the jam substitute. These were a tasty cookie.
delish! loved these and their Christmasy vibes, too.
