This week’s Tuesdays with Dorie (Baking with Dorie) recipe is Coconut-Milk-Chocolate Marble Cake.
I made a mini loaf and six muffins instead because I did not have enough time to wait for a full sized loaf cake to bake before I went out.
One side of the cake did not marble very well.
Marbling or no marbling, this cake is delicious.

This week’s Tuesdays with Dorie recipe is Breton Butter Cake.
This was more of a biscuit than a cake, as Dorie had based it on shortbread from the Brittany region. It is quite flat and has a chewy texture.
As the name suggests, it has a buttery, salty flavour. I liked it as is without adornments - it is very easy to slice off a bit and eat it.

I made only a half recipe as the full recipe made over 40 biscuits.
