WWDH - Coconut Beef Skewers

For Wednesday with Donna Hay this week, Glennis chose Coconut Beef Skewers from p142 of Off the Shelf.

These skewers were simple to make - rump steak is cut into narrow strips, shredded onto skewers, coated in coconut red curry sauce, then grilled and served with a simple dressed salad.

These skewers were quite tasty - they'd make a terrific entrée at a barbecue.

To see what everyone else thought about these skewers, visit the LYL section of the WWDH website.

These were tasty! I was skeptical when I saw the recipe as I thought they would be sweet tasting and I wasn't sure that I would care for that, but they didn't taste sweet to me, just flavorful with the curry paste. I will make these again, fast, easy, and delicious. Your salad looks inviting as well...I'm all about the salads most of the time! :-)

Knowing the HUBS doesn't like sweet meat, I skipped this one. Some day however...
They do look tasty.
