For
Wednesday with Donna Hay this week, Sarah chose Donna's Breakfast Parfait - the recipe is online
here.
Instead of muesli, I used some fruity breakfast flakes that I already had, but otherwise followed the recipe.
This was good - it would have been better if I'd used yoghurt that I like.

A good yogurt can make a big difference with these parfaits I find too! :)
It looks delicious. When I went to make it, I had none of the important ingredients. I do want to make it at another time.
Looks great! And the flakes sound good to me as well. I like your vessel...I couldn't figure out anything that would showcase the layered bit so I had to use a very small brandy snifter. Maybe that added to the enjoyment as well! No brandy in it, however. :-)
Agree. The yogurt makes all the difference. I used Oikos Greek and didn't like it at all. I'll try again with my fave yogurt.
Your parfait looks lovely.
I think the jar you used in the picture looks brilliant; it's all about the layers. Thick, creamy yogurt is my favourite. Which kind do you like?
Creamy but not too thick!
