This week’s Tuesday with Dorie recipe is Glenorchy Flapjacks. Dorie’s recipe comes, not from Scotland, but “across the ditch” from New Zealand.
These scrummy, oaty treats are packed with cranberries and ginger to give a bit of zing against the sweetness of the golden syrup binding them together.
This is definitely a “keeper” recipe.

These are SO good! I have them on my desk at school and I'm munching my way through them! The golden syrup definitely makes it!
"Across the ditch..." I hadn't heard that one before but it was fun to read it. Your bars look really good and I am hoping to get to them this weekend as they look like good ballgame watching treats. I made the other option today and it was really good, too. Nice description of it all and really yummy photo.
definitely scrummy— i liked these, too!
I'm glad to hear these are good! Can't wait to make them!
They are dangerously good.
LOL - there is healthy rivalry between Australia and NZ, and we describe each other as @across the ditch”. These are perfect ballgame food.
Worth a repeat!
I highly recommend them.
I am glad that these are a keeper, I just made them but haven't tried them yet. Looking forward to them.
THIS is not an American Flapjack. AKA pancake. But it bet it's better. Look delicious.
