Paris to Provence - Melbourne's French Festival
A couple of weekends ago, I attended Paris to Provence, the Melbourne French Festival, with two friends. Paris to Provence is held in the lovely grounds of historical Como House in South Yarra.
There are lots and lots of French food stalls, French homewares and French-inspired entertainment.
We started off with a tour of the stalls:
and met this sweet guy from the French bulldog dress-up competition along the way:
I couldn't resist this waffle on a stick with salted caramel sauce ($5):
from the same stall that sold these gorgeous biscuits and sweets:
Here are some more dogs hamming it up on the selfie couch:
and some beautiful French-style pastries and sweets:
We also visited the Yarra Valley Dairy stall, with lots of gorgeous cheeses to try and buy:
There was a little mini pottery village to admire just outside the Dairy:
Here is my haul from the day:
saucisson, garlic bread, pear liqueur, jams, cheeses and a terrine.
One of the best parts of the day was sitting back on the deck chairs dotted around the grounds with a strawberry dacquiri and watching the world go by - now that was heavenly.
All in all, I had a terrific day at Paris to Provence.

As much as I love French pastries those Frenchies are absolutely adorable and almost stole the show!!
Dear Gaye, absolutely beautiful photos of what sounds like an amazing French food festival!
Thanks for sharing!
