For
Wednesday with Donna Hay this week,
Chaya chose Donna's Maple Glazed Chicken, the recipe for which is available online
here.
Chicken breasts are poached in maple syrup, chilli, salt and pepper. The end result is tender, flavoursome chicken, which I have served with snow peas and potato as suggested by Donna.
To see what the other Donna cooks thought of this dish, visit the LYL section of the
WWDH website.

This sounds really good! Does the maple flavour come through? :D
I didn't think, I would like it poached but indeed I did.
This was a good one. Love this method of cooking chicken breasts as it keeps them nice and moist and tender. I sometimes have a problem with that and telling when they are finished, this was easy. I will use this technique again and again. Yours looks wonderful and a pretty plate as well! No one here but me was going to eat parsnips or peapods as she suggested for the sides so I went with a bit of alfredo pasta and a salad. Was a big hit that way! :-)
