TWD - Smoky, Cheesy Cookies
This week's Tuesday with Dorie recipe is Smoky, Cheesy Cookies. These cookies comprise a flaky pastry flavoured with smoked gouda and cheddar cheese, and spiced with salt, pepper and cayenne pepper.
I cut my cookies 2" in diameter, making them a little larger than Dorie's recommended size.
These cookies are absolutely delicious - flaky, light, cheesy with just the right kick of spice.

wow these sound delicious - I don't use smoked gouda much so I like this idea for it.
I really liked these ones too! Keeping the recipe in my back pocket for holiday entertaining!
I have some of these still in the freezer. They are a delicious snack.
I have to pay more attention to the cookbook! These have to be delicious!
I think I'd love these cookies. I think I've made something similar with different cheeses though and I couldn't stop eating them :D
