EwE - Pan-Steamed Broccoli with Lemon, Garlic, and Parsley Gremolata

For Eating with Ellie this week, Sarah chose Pan-Steamed Broccoli with Lemon, Garlic, and Parsley Gremolata.

This was such an easy and wonderfully tasty side dish.  I never usually cook the broccoli stems, so this was a revelation.  I served it with last week's Beef and Guinness Stew:

What a great dinner!

I so often just steam broccoli that it's nice to be reminded of ways to cook it that are a little more exciting!

Sounds like a great way to eat broccoli - I sometimes like to squeeze lemon juice and grind pepper on mine when I feel fancy - this sounds like a nice change

This was good wasn't it. I usually do steam mine so none of the flavor is lost.

Your broccoli looks beautiful, and even better with that stew that it is dating. :-)
Loved the lemon in this one. But then you probably figured that because I love lemon in anything.
