TWD - Quick Classic Berry Tart

This week's Tuesday with Dorie features a Quick Classic Berry Tart, chosen by Cristine of Cooking with Cristine.

This tart was devine - creme patisserie and berries in a pastry case.

Look at all that lovely, smooth custard to sink your teeth into:

To get the recipe, buy the book or visit Cristine's site. To check out some other droolworthy tarts, visit the

You have a knack of coming up with just the thing I'm after - this is perfect for a small dinner I'm holding for friends next Friday. Thank you!

Oh my. That looks wonderful!

I love the look of berry tarts, but I've never baked one in my own kitchen. I think it's because I just like plain raspberries and cream too much. They don't last long enough for me to make any pastry. :)
