EwE - Cauliflower with Almond-Olive Tapenade

For Eating with Ellie this week, Kayte chose Cauliflower with Almond-Olive Tapenade.

I liked the idea of this dish, as it contains cauliflower, roasted capsicums, olives and sultanas, which are some of my favourite savoury things, but the reality was I found the tapenade a little too spicy and overpowering for me.

To see what the others thought, visit the LYL section of the EwE website.

Shame it was too salty - sounds like something you could tinker with to make a really tasty dish

It sounds very flavoursome! I wonder if it would be better to cut the tapenade down?

Sorry you did not enjoy. We loved this!

I'm in favor of the simplicity of cauliflower, Gaye. I'm not sure I would like the "extra" ingredients:) I rarely enjoy cauliflower with cheese sauce. Never mind all this other "stuff." However, for kids who may not want to "indulge," it may be a good way to introduce them:)

Thanks so much for sharing, Gaye...and thank you so much for dropping by my blog...

I was so prepared to love this one but it was not to be. Maybe the tapanade on something else....

It is so pretty...it was my recipe and I didn't get it made although I got the photo of the ingredients for Margaret, I still have everything, so I should just go ahead and make it. Yours is inspiringly pretty. That's probably not a word, but it is anyway. :-)
