TWD - Crispy-Topped Brown Sugar Bars


For Tuesday with Dorie this week, we made Crispy-Topped Brown Sugar Bars.  They comprise a brown sugar cookie base, topped with melted chocolate, then a crunchy topping, which could have been rice krispies, or dried fruits and nuts, or in my case, Lolly Gobble Bliss Bombs:


being a very cool name for caramel popcorn.

These bars were delicious and super easy to make.

    Oh I haven't seen lolly gobble bliss bombs for ages - such a great name and any bar with them on top sounds great to me

    Yay! Another caramel-corn topper-er! And I've never heard of Lolly Gobble Bliss Bombs. But they look pretty awesome!

    Who doesn't love caramel corn :). I just love going to a festival and watching them make it from scratch.

    Refraining from eating the caramelized Rice Krispies was tricky. Everyone wanted to snack on it when it came out of the oven. Love the popcorn.

    Lolly Gobble Bliss Bombs are just so much fun to say and see...your bars look fun and exciting. I didn't get them made yet but hopefully next week when we have a catch up week I can get them posted. Yours are an inspiration for sure1
