The second Dorie's Cookies selection for this month is Dorie's Coffee Malteds. As the name suggests, these chewy, fat cookies are flavoured with coffee and malt powder.
These cookies are very simple to make and come out round and uniform. They are well behaved all round, and taste very good.

ReplyDeletechewy and fat makes these sound good - I would prefer without coffee (but think coffee might do well) but like the naming them "malteds"
ReplyDeleteInteresting. I didn't find mine well behaved and I had to sub some ingredients but they were still delish! I need to make this version once I can get my hands on some malt powder!

ReplyDeleteI'm making malted cookies this week too but not with coffee and I think they'll end up quite different. these look great though-I love a well behaved cookie :D

ReplyDeleteOh, these sound delicious. I don't think I've ever had coffee and malt as joint flavours but love the thought.
ReplyDeleteI am so glad they are well behaved!!! They are exceptionally uniform and a malted anything is tasty in my book. Coffee and malt is very unusual, I have never had that either.
