EwE - Sweet and Savoury Carrot Salad with Oranges and Dates



This week for Eating with Ellie, Peggy chose  Sweet and Savoury Carrot Salad with Oranges and Dates.

This was a simple but delicious salad made from the ingredients in its name and dressed with a tangy dressing.

This salad was delicious - I served it as a side with next week's filet mignon recipe.

    When I saw this recipe in Kari's side bar, (bite sized thoughts) I just had to pop over for a nibble. I have made carrot salad with orange yogurt dressing but, have never thought to add dates! Sounds yummy!!!

    The choices from EWE are all so interesting! I must admit I would have glossed over this recipe but you really seem to like them! :D

    sounds like a nice salad - I need a few more on the side of my plate and dates and orange sound like the right sort of things to pair with carrot (though does bring orange cake to mind)

    YUM! We really loved this one, will be going to this version often. Yours looks wonderful and it sounds like a hit with the filet mignon! Always happy to have new lighter version of vegetable dishes here. I hope Sarah had time to make it!
