WWDH - White Fish with Pine Nut Brown Butter

For Wednesday with Donna Hay this week, Kayte has selected Donna's White Fish with Pine Nut Brown Butter.  This recipe is from New Food Fast, but is also online here.

What else can I say but that this was simple to prepare and very tasty to eat.  I splurged on pine nuts for this recipe.  My fish was blue grenadier (because it was the cheapest!).  To serve my fish, I multi-purposed leftover veg from tomorrow's EwE assignment.

This was my Sunday lunch, and it was very good.  I think even Hyacinth Bucket would have approved of this fish supper.

  2. I don't think I've heard of blue grenadier before, but from reading, it seems like the perfect fit for this recipe. Lovely veg as well. :)

  6. Dear Gaye, that sounds so delicious and you presented it so nicely - I certainly would not mind my lunch or dinner to look exactly like this.

  7. I'm learning about new fish this week from various parts of the world, you with your blue grenadier and Sarah with her threadfin! A bonus to cooking with people around the world. Yours turned out really lovely and lunch there looks wonderful. Good to use veggies twice (I had butternut squash in both of mine this week even though it wasn't in the recipe, I served it on the side) as we can never get through a whole vegetable in one meal usually...good to parcel it out.

  9. Fish dishes are always interesting. And there are so many kinds to chose from. I bet this would be good with just about anything - I mean, Chaya used salmon.
