Wednesdays with Donna Hay - Cannellini and Fresh Tomato Broth
This week's WWDH pick is Cannelli and Fresh Tomato Broth, chosen by Chaya.
I found that I got a lot of froth when I made this that I skimmed off, leaving not much soup, and the soup itself was quite thin - tasty, but thin. The soup in the photo in Off the Shelf was much redder and thicker than mine - not sure what happened, but there appears to be quite a difference.

ReplyDeleteit looks good to me. Sometimes I prefer just a good, simple broth.

ReplyDeleteI love really thick soups so I would be wondering what happened with the texture too although it does sound tasty :)
ReplyDeleteI made it and mine wasn't as red as in the book either. It was kind of just "there" so I spiffed it up a bit, but a nice "there" soup would be wonderful for recuperating from a the flu or a cold.
