FFwD - Raspberry Marscapone Roulade

It's dessert time for French Friday with Dorie, and the recipe was Blueberry Marscapone Roulade.  To be different, I made Raspberry  Marscapone Roulade.

This was simple enough to make, if a little fussy.  I managed to get icing sugar everywhere at one stage, making a sticky mess.

Here's a long view:

This meringue, cream and berry concoction was quite delicious.  There's not much else to say. However, to see what the other Doristas have to say, visit the LYL section of the FFwD website.

  4. I had to laugh, I still feel like I am finding pockets of powdered sugar in new corners of the kitchen:-) But it was so darn tasty!

  6. The roulade looks perfect as for the sugar, I am still cleaning the fridge, the kitchen bench, the dinning table and pretty much the whole kitchen. It seems I was a bit to generous with the stuff!

  7. I love roulades, but I've always been a bit scared of trying one at home! Raspberry and mascarpone sounds like a deeee-lish combination. Have a great weekend!

  10. Lovely roulade, your berry concoction does look delicious! There is something annoying about sitting down at the kitchen counter and sticking to it;-)
I have to get my act together and try the latest assigned Dorie recipe, especially love the berry filling;-)

  11. Since I poured 3/4 of a bag of a confectionary sugar on the Hungarian Shortbread bars, I only had a bag to spill on my roulade. Most of it (the sugar) is still in the towel. Still, I liked this recipe. Raspberries sound delicious also.
