This week's Tuesday with Dorie challenge is Chocolate Biscotti, chosen by Jacque of Daisy Lane Cakes. These biscotti are chunky, uber-chocolatey and packed with almonds.
They were a snap to make - I didn't have any issues with the dough crumbling when I cut it mid-baking.
Although nothing like the ultra-thin, sleek biscotti I am used to, these were very good, and disappeared in no time at work.
To get the recipe, buy Baking from My Home to Yours by Dorie Greenspan, or visit Jacque's site. To see more chocolate biscotti, visit the LYL section of the TWD website.
Your biscotti look delicious and perfect!
ReplyDeleteThese look so much better than those "biscotti" (I use the term loosely) I always see at coffee shops. I love chocolate and almond together!
ReplyDeleteYour picture inspired me to make these this weekend. Although, I've made chocolate biscotti before, I wasn't thrilled with the outcome. I am definitely going to try again
ReplyDeleteThey look great! Mine are disappearing quickly from the kitchen counter!
ReplyDeleteYour biscotti looks REALLLLY chocolatey! I'm not a biscotti fan, but yours might change my mind!

Yours look fantastic. Mine also disappeared fast--so I decided to bake up Dorie's classic brownies today! Yay chocolate!
ReplyDeleteYum, yours look so nice and chocolaty. This was great biscotti dough, not nearly as crumbly as most. I was not as generous as you - mine have not made it to work.
ReplyDeleteLovely dark, rich looking biscotti. I love baking biscotti and don't have really knock-out recipe for a chocolate one, so Ill be giving this one a try very soon.
ReplyDeleteChocolate and almonds. What's not to love. These were good, weren't they?
ReplyDeleteThese look like my kind of biscotti! Lots of chocolate!
