Don't you love it when something simple ends up being something special? So it was with this week's
Tuesday with Dorie pick by Cindy of
Everyday Insanity, who chose Dorie's Blueberry Brown Sugar Cake.
This cake was a snap to put together, and has a lovely caramel flavour from brown sugar combined with the lusciousness of blueberries. It is quick and easy to make, and is simply dusted with icing sugar to sreve. Perfect!

ReplyDeleteYum yum yum! I love baked goods with blueberries. And I love really simple cakes. I always used to spend July 4th with my grandparents in Arkansas and they had a local source for amazing blueberries. My grandparents are the ones who got me started on local/seasonal food.
ReplyDeleteThis looks delicious! I'm bringing my Baked cookbook with me to my sister's, so I'll try and make some recipes this week.

ReplyDeleteI am always drooling when I see blueberry cakes. They are difficult to find here in Athens and when we do they are quite expensive so I don't buy them. The cake looks amazing,
