Don't you love the smell of peanut butter? When you open the lid, the heady aroma of peanuts and sweetness wafts up into your nostrils and carries you away to another place. And what could be better than a peanut butter sandwich for a lazy lunch?
This week, our Tuesdays with Dorie host, Nicole of Bakeologie chose Dorie's Peanuttiest Blondies. As their name suggests, these blondies are packed with peanut butter and salted peanuts. They are simple enough to make, but an electric mixer is recommened for blending the ingredients together.
The resulting blondies are soft and cake-like, with crunch from the peanuts and chocolate chips studded throughout. They are too good to stop at just one.
To see what everyone else thought of these blondies, visit the TWD blogroll, and visit Nicole's site for the recipe - or better still, buy the book, Baking from My Home to Yours by Dorie Greenspan.
I love those! Your blondies look so fudgy.

ReplyDeleteYes I do so love peanut butter - especially the super crunchy variety! I mustn't have it in the house because I just eat it straight from the jar. These are my idea of heaven on a plate :)
