WWDH - Food Processor Banana Cake

This week's Wednesday with Donna Hay recipe is Food Processor Banana Cake, chosen by Margaret from p160 of Off The Shelf.  You can also find the recipe online here.

To make this cake is a breeze - you bung everything in the food processor, wazz it up, pour it into a bundt tin, bake and and voila - you have cake in under an hour. I used up some aged bananas that I had stashed in the freezer, and though they looked gross when thawed, they were perfect in this cake.

If you need a snack for a child's lunch box, I think this cake would be perfect - it is not too bad nutritionally while still maintaining the treat factor.

This looks beautiful and I just love your rose bundt pan. I am so hooked on cakes made in food processors ever since I made Nigella Lawson's coffee walnut cake. It just can't get any easier.

LOVE your cake pan. I have got to find one like that - a small one. This was a pretty good little cake wasn't it?

Food processor cakes are so easy I agree! There's no reason to buy one or use a packet mix if it's so easy :D

What a pretty cake comes from that pan!! Perfect for this recipe as I thought the cake was light and delicious and delicate. I'm finally posted, a day late, sorry about that...Mark's mom's funeral was Wednesday and I thought I would be organized enough to get it all done and banked before but alas, was not to be. It's up now, though, and we liked it a lot!
